Accor, the powerhouse behind 5,000 hotels covering 40 world-leading brands including some of our destinations’ favourites – Sofitel, Fairmont, Mercure and Novotel – has launched a new safeguarding initiative in combination with world renowned health insurance company AXA.
ALLSAFE is a strategic partnership between the two global leaders to provide medical support and introduce new world-leading stringent measures in hygiene and safety across all its hotels. With other aspects promised imminently, it so far consists of two parts:
- As hotels start to re-open amidst the coronavirus pandemic, staff training, cleanliness protocols, guest contact measures, and food safety standards are all being enhanced to meet the strictest requirements. Developed with and vetted by Bureau Vertias, a world-leader testing inspections and certifications, the new standards will be rolled out across all hotels. Each hotel will be audited by an Accor operational expert or third-party auditors to ensure the ALLSAFE standards are met and upheld.
- The second part of ALLSAFE introduces the partnership with AXA. Expected to be available to all hotels as early as July 2020, it allows guests to benefit from the highest level of care thanks to the expert medical solutions of AXA Partners, at one touch of a button. First and foremost, guests will benefit from AXA’s most recent advances in telemedicine through free access to medical teleconsultations. Along with this, access to AXA’s extensive medical networks with tens of thousands of vetted medical professionals.
With Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman and the rest of our destinations housing some of the leading hotels, this is welcome news. With fantastic and innovative approaches like these, it ensures that whilst the MICE industry starts returning to normality, your guests will feel safe in the knowledge they have the ultimate protection and assistance on hand.
We look forward to welcoming you for your incentive or event to show the magic of our destinations soon!
