Further strengthening the United Arab Emirates’ position as a hub and meeting point of the world, new direct flights to/from Dubai were recently announced.
1. Helsinki, Finland
Flydubai is set to launch direct flights from Helsinki, Finland, on October 11, 2018.
A flight that would take approximately 6.5 hours each way, this will be the first year-round service between Dubai International Airport and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
2. Essex, London
Emirates has added a service to London Stansted Airport, making it the first airline to establish a direct link between Dubai and the popular Essex airport.
Opening the London Stansted gateway was a strategic decision by Emirates to serve the thriving business community from London’s north east and the wider 7.5 million population that fall within its catchment area.
This new flight is Emirates’ 10th daily flight connecting Dubai and London.
3. Santiago, Chile
On July 5, 2018, Emirates will kick-off its five-times-a-week service from Dubai to Santiago, Chile, through the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. Santiago is the airline’s fourth South American passenger route.
The new service will also be an additional five-times-a-week flight to Sao Paulo, complementing the airline’s existing daily A380 flight between Dubai and Sao Paulo. In total, Emirates will now fly 12 times a week to Sao Paulo.
